———
($10 DJ REGISTRATION)

Tired of just mixing? It's time to make your turntables sing!
Join us for an electrifying Turntablism 101 Workshop hosted by the renowned scratch artist, DJ Dash. Known for a signature "cut and paste style of turntablism," DJ Dash will guide you from a basic DJ to a certified turntablist by teaching you the foundational mechanics and creative roots of the art form.
What You Will Unlock:
• The DNA of the Scratch: Go beyond simple movements and master the core techniques: the Baby Scratch, Forward/Reverse Scratch, Chirps, and Tears.
• True Instrument Control: Learn how to use the deck and crossfader not as playback tools, but as powerful musical instruments capable of producing complex rhythms and sounds.
• Cultural Context: Understand the history of hip-hop and the pioneers—from Kool Herc to Grandmaster Flash—who laid the groundwork for modern turntablism.
This is a hands-on experience designed to build muscle memory and confidence. Come ready to practice and transform your DJ sets with dynamic cuts and technical finesse!
